Boyce Partners with Royal Far West to Support Country Kids

Boyce is proud to work with Royal Far West (RFW), an Australian charity that helps children in rural and remote communities stay healthy and thrive.

For more than 100 years, RFW has focused on one mission: every country child should have access to essential health and developmental services. In December 2024, RFW celebrated its 100th anniversary of supporting families across Australia.

What Royal Far West Does

RFW provides specialist care for children aged 0–12 who live in rural and remote areas. Services include:

  • Developmental health support
  • Mental health care
  • Disability services

The goal is clear: help every child reach their full potential, no matter where they live.

Making a Big Impact

Last year, RFW supported over 24,000 children, families, teachers, and health professionals across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia. They partnered with more than 500 schools and preschools in 364 communities, delivering care where it’s needed most.

How Care Is Delivered

Families can access care in several ways:

  • At the Centre for Country Kids in Manly, NSW
  • Through virtual care
  • Via in-community programs

These options make sure even the most remote families get the help they need.

Building Stronger Communities

Collaboration is key. RFW works with early childhood centres, schools, and community organisations to build local capacity and improve long-term outcomes for country kids.

As leaders in rural child health, RFW advocates for fair access to services and gives a voice to children in the bush. Their commitment is simple: where you live should never limit your development.
