Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Senior Accountant with proven experience in the Agricultural and Business Services sectors.
In this role, you'll leverage your financial expertise to review, interpret, and present financial information to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. You'll also contribute to Boyce's success while fostering a collaborative and client-focused environment.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

- Financial Reviews: Start your day by reviewing and interpreting financial data, preparing insightful reports for our clients. You'll present these findings in meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the financial health and performance of their operations.
- Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Spend part of your day engaging with clients, developing a deep understanding of their needs and goals. You'll provide tailored advice, helping them navigate compliance obligations and make informed decisions to achieve their objectives.
- Collaborative Workflow Management: Focus on managing workflow and collaborating with your team to ensure high-quality deliverables. You'll mentor junior staff, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of Boyce by living the company's values and promoting a culture of excellence.
About you:
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Accountant with a strong technical background and a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges. You will excel in managing client relationships, providing insightful financial advice, and mentoring team members, all while delivering exceptional service.
If you have some of below skills, experience or qualities we would like to hear from you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy, Commerce, or Business; progressing towards CA or CPA certification.
- 3-5 years in public practice, including advisory, accounting, tax, or audit work.
- Proven capacity to nurture and sustain client relationships.
- Exceptional proficiency in forging robust relationships within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to guide and manage teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of business operations.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative.
- Proven aptitude in utilising accounting software (Xero), including the Microsoft Suite.
