The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an experienced accountant to join our Agri team as a Manager.

In this role you'll leverage your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the success of our clients. This role offers a chance to grow professionally while actively participating in firm initiatives and fostering a collaborative work environment.

We’re open to applications from candidates located in either Wagga Wagga, Cooma, Goulburn, Dubbo, Moree, Canberra or Sydney.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

 Your day will be varied and interesting, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of matters. Your day may look something like this…

• Client Interaction and Management: Start your day by addressing client queries and managing multiple client commitments. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Spend a portion of your day preparing and reviewing year-end financial statements, tax returns, and management reports. You'll also assist with cash-flow budgets and tax planning, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Engage with your team by coaching new members, providing constructive feedback, and participating in firm initiatives.

If you have some of the below experience and qualities, we'd like to hear from you…

• An interest in partnering with our clients and developing your relationship management skills.
• Have a tertiary qualification or be currently studying (qualifications in Business, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Agriculture would be advantageous).
• Public practice experience, undertaking advisory, accounting, tax, or audit work.
• Have completed postgraduate qualifications or have a willingness to undertake study in the future.
• Technology skills and a demonstrated ability to learn various systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Have permanent working rights in Australia.
