Mike Nangle

In August 1990 Mike commenced employment with Boyce after spending 12 months working in a small Chartered Accounting firm in Dubbo. 

Prior to this Mike had spent ten years working in the rural merchandising industry with Wesfarmers Limited at their Dubbo branch, and in his home town of Gilgandra in his family’s rural merchandise business. 

To supplement his practical business experience Mike commenced formal study whilst working with Wesfarmers enrolling in an Associate Diploma of Business majoring in Accounting. He graduated in 1992. 

INSIGHT

In 1998 Mike commenced post-graduate study and in 2001, was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting. 

Mike is a registered Tax Agent and in 2005 he graduated as a Master of Commerce in professional accounting from the University of Southern Queensland. 

EXPERIENCE

Mike not only runs a large client base for the firm, but for many years had the additional responsibility of leading the firm’s Training Focus Group. 

In this role, Mike coordinated intensive training for the firm’s new recruits and developed the annual calendar of core knowledge training to ensure all staff members are trained in day-to-day accounting and taxation issues, and the firm’s weekly staff training to keep staff abreast of the latest changes and trends in taxation, finance, superannuation, information technology and financial planning. 

Mike handed over the reins of the Training Focus Group in 2008 to concentrate on a growing client base. 

In 2003 Mike was appointed as an Associate Director of the firm. 

In 2020, Mike decided to return to his former role of Senior Manager, to allow more time for his growing family. Mike has lived and breathed the values of the Firm, and is a fantastic leader in the Dubbo office, showing huge support to Directors and staff, both past and present.
