Paul Fisher - Director
Paul Fisher left school in 1985 and in 1986 began an accountancy cadetship with Court & Co Chartered Accountants in Sydney.
In 1991 Paul completed his professional year and in August of that year moved to Moree to take up a position with Boyce. Paul was appointed as a Director of the firm in 1996.
Paul has extensive cotton and farming knowledge and works with some of the firm’s largest clients.
Since 2004 Paul has been responsible for managing the Moree branch and has shown passionate commitment and care for the Moree team, client base and community. He now shares the management role with fellow Boyce Director, Phil Alchin.
As one of the firm’s senior tax advisors, Paul has a thorough understanding of the aspects of tax that impact our clients and a solid network of external tax specialists to call on if required.
Paul is also an active member of the firm’s Tax Focus Group. This group leads the way in ensuring the Boyce team is trained and kept up-to-date in all relevant areas of tax legislation.
In recent years, Paul has become eager to assist clients to understand and take advantage of the new water trading rules and structures. He has spoken at a number of seminars and conferences on this issue and made submissions to various enquiries to support the rights of irrigators and to help ensure the survival of rural communities.
In March 2006, Paul was appointed to the role of Finance Partner on the firm’s Executive Committee and served in this role until March 2012.
Paul is a licenced financial advisor with Boyce Financial Services and enjoys being able to offer a holistic service to clients to help them plan for the future and maximise their wealth.
