New Boyce director appointed

The directors of Boyce Chartered Accountants are delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Calder as a director of the firm effective 1 July 2015.
In announcing the appointment, Boyce Managing Director Phil Alchin noted Ben’s outstanding contribution to the firm.
“Ben started with Boyce as an accountant over seven years ago, having relocated from Newcastle to Dubbo. He has advanced quickly as a result of his serious capability as well as his genuine care and dedication to his clients.”
“The progression to directorship is a just reward for Ben’s efforts and the firm will be greatly strengthened by Ben joining the front line.” said Phil.
Ben commenced with Boyce Dubbo in 2008 and combined work with post-graduate studies to become a qualified Chartered Accountant in 2010.
He was a recipient of the 2013 “Tony Quirk Employee of the Year” award recognising his work ethic, technical ability and care for clients. His technical capabilities in high level tax matters has been put to good use in recent years through the firms tax focus group.
Ben grew up on a small farm on the mid-north coast of NSW and relocated to Newcastle for university before settling with his family in Dubbo when he joined Boyce.
Ben, his wife Ashleigh and their eighteen month old son Joel are now firmly entrenched in Dubbo and they are expecting their second baby in October.
Ben is excited about the challenges and opportunities ahead.
