Boyce Appoints New Associate Directors

1 July 2007

The Directors of Boyce are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Associate Directors effective 1 July 2007—Christine Dyet in Orange and Beth Hoskins in Goulburn.

Christine Dyet

Christine was “born and bred” in Orange so she knows the people and the region particularly well. It is this insight plus her extensive accounting experience that have made Christine such a valuable part of the Boyce Orange team and support her elevation to Associate Director level.

Following school, Christine completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of NSW and commenced work with Arthur Anderson (one of the big “5” accounting firms) in 1987. She became a Chartered Accountant in 1990.

With the aim of broadening her commercial experience, Christine left Arthur Anderson in 1993 to work in financial controller and company secretary positions for a variety of large private and small publicly listed companies in the retail, venture capital and transport industries.

However the bush called and Christine returned to Orange and commenced work with Boyce in October 2002. Christine enjoys the variety of work and the ability to achieve results that working for Boyce brings. She manages to juggle a heavy work-load with raising her two boys (Ben 9 and Mathew 7) in partnership with her husband, Chris.

Beth Hoskins

Beth commenced with Boyce in 2001 and since that time has displayed extraordinary commitment and care for her clients. These attributes, together with her acknowledged technical expertise, make Beth more than worthy of the title of Associate Director.

Prior to joining Boyce, Beth worked in the horse racing industry and retail sector; she also ran her own small business whilst her children were young. Recently Beth has completed post-graduate study to become a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

Her husband Jim, children – Harry 14 and George 10, and two adult step children Tom and Alice, are the focus of Beth’s world outside of work. She is also an active community member and has been involved in a number of local events and charities over the years.

Beth is a great mentor to the Goulburn team and provides valuable support to the Directors in managing the challenges of a busy practice. Beth comments that she feels privileged to work with such an amazing group of people – including not just the Directors and team at Boyce, but also her clients. She is committed to finding ways to improve how we assist and support our clients - a challenge for which she is more than adequately prepared.
