From 1 October 2021, rollovers to or from SMSFs will need to use SuperStream.
Zinc Phosphide Rebates Available for NSW Primary Producers

NSW Primary Producers can now apply for a zinc phosphide rebate as part of the $150 million mice support package.
Eligible applicants can apply for a 50% rebate on the purchase price of zinc phosphide, up to a maximum of $10,000.
Approved applicants can make a single claim for purchases made between 1 January 2021 and 17 December 2021, with claims needing to be submitted by 28 January 2022.

Service NSW have updated the rules surrounding eligibility for the NSW JobSaver Payment & COVID-19 business grant and have had a significant focus on educating business to ensure the rules are operating as intended. To follow is a broad summary of the key changes and messages that are being relayed.
Disaster Assistance for Narromine & Coonamble Shires

Did you sustain storm or flood damage from these events?
Assistance is now available for primary producers and small businesses who sustained damage from two declared natural disasters:
- Narromine Shire - 2 January 2021 (loan only) and 10 March 2021 (loan and grant)
- Coonamble Shire - 10 March 2021 (loan and grant)
Disaster recovery grants of $75,000 and relief loans of $130,000 are available.

Reviewing Salary Sacrifice Agreements

Recent changes to superannuation contribution caps and the superannuation guarantee means now is a good time to review your salary sacrifice agreement.
These changes came into effect 1 July 2021 and existing agreements may need to be revised to maximise your concessional contributions or ensure you don’t exceed contribution caps.
