Boyce are excited to announce Angela Smith as the 2020 Tony Quirk (TQ) Employee of Year

16 December 2021

Judging of the award took place on the 23 November 2021, with 5 outstanding finalists from each office in consideration:

  • Susan Walters - Cooma
  • Tracy Faichney - Dubbo
  • Tara Mills - Goulburn
  • Angela Smith - Moree
  • James Muir - Wagga

Angela was selected as this year’s winner for her demonstrated genuine care for clients and the team, which was supported by some great client testimonials and her ingrained passion for agriculture and ability to apply this to her role at Boyce.

Working with a broad range of clients, from small farming partnerships and small businesses through to large scale farming operations, Angela is passionate about helping them make informed decisions.

The calibre of finalists was exceptional, and it was particularly exciting to see our team members being recognised by their peers for their contributions to the success of the Firm.

Electronic Delivery of ATO Correspondence

14 December 2021

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has made changes that allow Boyce to receive your ATO correspondence electronically. This includes ATO documents sent directly to you via myGov which have caused issues in the past.

Boyce are implementing new systems to forward this ATO correspondence to you via email. This will mean you will receive your correspondence sooner. Because we are sending to you via email, we will be removing some information off the documents. If you require the original, please contact your Boyce accountant and we will send it to you via our secure portal.

Your Boyce accountant will still review the mail where appropriate to ensure your circumstances are taken into account.

The correspondence will be sent to you via the email address that your Boyce accountant has on record. If you would like to check or update this email, or to opt out of receiving your documents electronically, please discuss with your Boyce accountant.

We are pleased to announce the very first recipient of the Laureena Verrent (LV) Scholarship, Ellyce Batt from our Dubbo office. Congratulations Ellyce!

Ellyce, who joined Boyce as our Dubbo receptionist in 2019, has plans to study Accounting and Bookkeeping, and has a strong desire to provide more holistic support to the Boyce team.

We wish Ellyce luck in her studies.
